Overview

The SVP of Accounting and Global Controller is a key member of the CFO’s leadership team, responsible for ensuring financial integrity, operational efficiency, and scalable support for the company’s growth. This role oversees the execution and continuous improvement of core financial processes—internally and in coordination with external partners—while leading global accounting, controls, and compliance functions.The ideal candidate will drive modernization across accounting operations, elevate internal controls, and advance systems and reporting capabilities that enable timely, data-driven decision-making. With global scope and strategic impact, this position plays a critical role in aligning finance operations with the company’s business goals and performance management framework.Responsibilities

Define and enhance accounting processes and capabilities, ensuring alignment with business needs, regulatory requirements, and strategic goals.Establish and improve financial control procedures, including AP, AR, and payment processes, to drive accuracy, accountability, and operational efficiency.Manage external financial service providers, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of statutory and IFRS reporting, audits, tax, and transfer pricing.Oversee external accounting, tax, and related services, ensuring service levels and costs meet company expectations.Take ownership of additional responsibilities as needed to support the company’s financial and strategic objectives.Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar senior finance role within a multi-national environment.Demonstrated ability to design, improve, and oversee financial processes that ensure transparency, control, and operational efficiency.Strong knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and financial reporting best practices.Solid background in process improvement and automation, including experience with ERP systems and driving adoption among key stakeholders.Experience in professional services and/or IT- services business is an asset.Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.Degree in accounting, finance or relevant field.We offer
