PermanentKey Duties (Including but not limited to):Support and lead the development and maintenance of a robust set of actuarial modelling tools and process, ensuring global consistency across methodology and processesThe key tasks cover all aspects of their end-to-end process, including the drafting of Technical Specifications, implementing model updates and testing and reviewing changesTo develop and maintain strong working relationships with all key users, specifically within the territory in which you are domiciledSupport the AST team in triaging change requests and development pipelinesQualified actuary with minimum of 5 years’ experience in life insurance or life reinsuranceCoding experience, e.g. C++, Python or VBADemonstrable interest in long-term actuarial modelling roleModel development experience, preferably with knowledge of Life, CI, IP and Annuity/Longevity productsExperience of using MoSes, RiskAgility FM, Tyche or similar modelling platforms, including an understanding of the benefits and limitations of such platforms
