Quantity Surveyor Countywide Projects Lancashire Negotiable day rate We re looking for a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Highways Service, a newly formed and innovative team delivering both routine maintenance and multi-million-pound infrastructure schemes across the county. What you''ll be doing: Prepare estimates, tenders and Bills of Quantities from drawings and Schedule of Rates Provide financial oversight and cost control on major highways and public realm projects Manage site measurements, valuations, compensation events and variations Handle monthly applications for payment, final accounts and marked-up drawings Lead procurement activity including material orders, call-offs, and work package agreements Support contract management, budget tracking, forecasting, and risk identification Work closely with operational teams to ensure all commercial impacts are captured and managed Promote excellent custome
