Surrounded by 100 acres of Oxfordshire countryside, Soho Farmhouse is a destination for food and drink, wellness and outdoor activities. Two hours'' drive or a short train from London, we have 114 bedrooms, including cabins, huts and farmhouse bedrooms to stay in, a state-of-the-art gym, Cowshed Spa, an indoor and outdoor pool and cinema. We have multiple food and beverage outlets on site, The Main Barn is the central hub, serving the club menu all day. On the mezzanine, Comfy Farm has sofas and an open fire place, while Fancy Farm is a more formal setting for lunch or dinner. The Role...

We are seeking an experienced

Duty Manager

to join our team at

Soho Farmhouse

(OX7 4JS) . As a Duty Manager, you will responsible for ensuring site and daily operations are running smoothly, all departments are working cohesively, efficiently and safely and the members and guests'' expectations are met and orchestrating seamless communication across all departments. Including day-to-day operations, the Duty Manager is also an ambassador for the Soho House brand and fully embraces our ethos, supports staff, member and guest experience.

Role duties...Checking in with every department to ensure they are fully functional staff-wise and have everything required for a successful shiftAesthetic standards walk round of all members areas between the start and completion of your shiftMaintenance of aesthetic standards throughout the shift, highlighting deficiencies to departmental managers to addressHand over from and to the previous or incoming Duty Manager at the beginning and end of each shiftReview all arrivals/departures/stay over guests for the day for special requirements and other informationReview daily snapshot for pertinent/actionable information from the previous day/shiftHost and lead morning/evening management briefings, ensuring good attendance and relevant information is communicatedFirst port of call for member issues when an issue needs to be escalated beyond the departmental managerBe present and assist in key members areas during peak service times - including but not limited to FandB outlets, desks, room checks and accommodationConstant member checks throughout the day across site gaining feedback and making sure expectations are metOngoing checks on the teams throughout the shift ensuring that they are able to complete their duties, deadlines and are happy in their workLiaise with membership team throughout shift to ensure sufficient member engagementBuild strong relationships with all HODs in all departments and be their main point of contact for day to day business needsUse of Know cross PMS system for maintenance job and glitch reportingDeal with any emergency situations that arise during the day

What we are looking for in a Duty Manager...1-2 years'' experience in a busy hospitality businessTeam player who communicates well with all colleaguesPunctual, reliable and trustworthySense of urgencyYes, yes, yes mentalityAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentHave a genuine passion for food and beverageFlexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required

Expected working hours for a Duty Manager...Varying shift times across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens and closesAverage hours 45 hours per weekFixed term role until September
