Davies are looking to recruit a dedicated Liability Claims Handler to join our growing Casualty team. The role of the Liability Claims Handler is to efficiently handle EL and PL claims for both personal injury and third-party property damage. While not essential, experience of all 3 UK legal jurisdictions would be beneficial as would experience in other areas of claim''s handling.The successful candidate will manage an allocated caseload, completing enquires in relation to policy indemnity, legal liability and quantum, reporting to clients and ensuring that claims are handled proactively in accordance with the handling philosophy of Casualty Claims Solutions and their clients This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate working as part of a dedicated team providing a first-class proactive claims handling service to major clients.What will your day look like:Liaison with Insurers, Policyholders and Brokers.Investigation of allocated claims from the desk, or via referral to a field adjuster for site investigation where appropriateObtaining all necessary evidence and relevant documentationDetermining appropriate actions for the resolution of the casePreparation of detailed reports, where required, providing advice on policy indemnity, legal liability, quantum and tacticsNegotiating settlement where appropriate, within agreed authority limitsCorresponding with all parties professionally to proactively progress the case to conclusionHandling all cases in accordance
