We work on trading floors in over 80 countries, enriching client relationships around the clock. The breadth and depth of our underwriting, structuring, securitisation, sales and trading and distribution capabilities span asset classes and currencies, sectors and industries. And our expertise covers a vast array of products including equities, commodities, credit, futures and foreign exchange (FX).What you’ll do

Our program is a highly competitive and selective program that gives you the opportunity to actively participate in the trading and marketing of securities to our institutional client base. In addition, as a summer analyst, you will be given the opportunity to complete three rotations across both product and function, to gain a well-rounded experience. If none of these terms make sense right now, that\''s OK! As an analyst, you will join a training program where you will receive an in-depth education to learn the fundamentals of the analyst role and an introduction to Citi\''s culture.We’re committed to teaching you the ropes. The 10-week summer analyst program starts in June and begins with a one-week training program in London. You will then complete three rotations with different desks. After submitting an application, you will be asked to select which area of Markets you are most interested in, Sales, Trading, Structuring, Quantitative Analysis or Securitisation and FinancingWe will use this information to help align you to the most appropriate recruitment process. If successful, your summer rotations will be decided by desk availability and your stated preference, but you will be encouraged to experience desks across Markets. Successful summer analysts will be considered for a full-time position after graduation.What we’ll need from you

You are interested in Markets, and you\u2019re determined to succeed in the field. As industries all over the globe continue to restructure and grow, we are hiring professionals who have a global perspective on the future of banking and want to make an impact on the corporate level. We value diversity and so do you.We\u2019ll also be looking for the following:You are currently enrolled in a university and expected to achieve or have achieved a 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate level in any degree discipline.

You are in your penultimate year of university

You have a good understanding of finance and an interest in Markets

You are proficient in Microsoft office, especially Excel.

Your knowledge of programming languages (VBA, Python) is highly desirable

You have excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with a strong attention to detail and exceptional planning and organizational skills

You are intellectually curious and proactively seek out new and creative ideas

You are a self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative team, with a strong commitment to personal growth and career development, including mobility and flexibility

You have an unwavering commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making.

You are fluent in written and spoken English
