Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Civil Engineering Foreman to oversee and manage our team on a large scale Civil Engineering Project. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising daily operations, coordinating tasks among team members, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

Duties

• Supervise and manage a team of workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Plan and assign daily tasks to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Monitor work progress and quality, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
• Facilitate communication between team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide training and mentorship to new employees, fostering a positive work environment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents that occur on-site.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the civil engineering industry
• Valid SSSTS
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the industry is essential.
• A valid driver''s licence may be required for site visits or travel between locations.
