Key Responsibilities

Organise and conduct activities that encourage social, mental and physical stimulation for residents within the home.

Network and develop links in the local community to establish relationships with local businesses, organisations and schools. Build and maintain a volunteer base for the whole home, involving family, staff and community volunteers to participate as a regular part of the activities programme.

Organise fundraising events.

Organise special events (e.g., Christmas entertainment, Ascot, Royal Occasions).

Produce a monthly programme of events to discuss with the General Manager of the home.

Encourage residents and team members to participate in the home’s activities programme.

Maintenance of posters and notice boards within the home.

Requirements

Clean driving licence (over the age of 21) required to drive the company car/minibus for external outings. Training can be provided for mini-bus driving.
