Job DescriptionWestlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Designer to be based in Manchester with hybrid working on a long-term contract basis. (Inside and Outside IR35 considered)Responsibilities:Providing safe, practical, and economic designs for clients to a high standard of professional competence and in compliance with Company procedures.Producing drawing office deliverables including but not limited to SLDs, Cable Schedules, Material Take Offs, BCDs, Schematics, Equipment and Cable Routing Layouts.Checking of drawings in accordance with Company procedures.Liaising with other disciplines as required.3D modelling in Navis Works and AVEVA E3D.Experience:Good knowledge of design working practices and installation requirements of the discipline across relevant sector.Extensive engineering experience in the relevant or similar sectors.Proficient in CAD.
