Role: Behavioural Support AssistantHours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:00am-3:30pm)Pay: Start Date: November.The school has a specialist internal provision designed to support pupils who require a more bespoke and structured approach. They are searching for a calm, resilient, and proactive Behavioural Support Assistant who can help pupils regulate, engage, and thrive within a nurturing and supportive environment.Behavioural Support Assistant - Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support as a Behavioural Support Assistant Assist pupils with emotional regulation, sensory needs and challenging behaviour Support children with communication needs, including non-verbal pupils Work closely with the SEND team to deliver tailored strategies and interventions Maintain a calm, consistent, safe learning environment as a Behavioural Support Assistant Contribute to personalised plans, behaviour reports and daily logs Use de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies confidently Support learning both in the provision and, when needed, in the mainstream classroom Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff Uphold safeguarding and school policies in all aspects of the role as a Behavioural Support AssistantBehavioural Support Assistant - Requirements: Previous experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour or SEND Strong behaviour management and resilience Ability to adapt to different needs across EYFS-KS2 Confidence supporting emotional and behaviou
