The RoleWe''re recruiting a Shift Manager for a well-established and growing food manufacturing business supplying major retailers and household-name brands.This is a hands-on leadership role where you''ll take full responsibility for your shift, leading people, delivering the plan, and keeping standards high across safety, quality and performance.If you enjoy developing teams, improving how things run, and being accountable for results, this role will suit you.What You''ll Be DoingLeading and motivating a production team on shiftMaking sure everyone works safely and follows site standardsDelivering the production plan on time, in full and to specificationManaging labour, resources and shift organisationMonitoring performance, waste and output during the shiftEnsuring products meet food safety and quality requirementsWorking closely with Technical and Engineering to resolve issuesCoaching, training and developing team membersHolding regular team briefs and one-to-one conversationsManaging performance fairly and consistentlyDriving a "right first time" mindsetIdentifying and implementing practical improvementsContributing to management meetings and site performanceShift PatternOff-season: Monday-Friday, rotating 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pmPeak season: 7-day operation including days and nights (planned and resourced)Some flexibility required depending on demandWhat We''re Looking ForExperience in food manufacturing or wider FMCG productionProven experience leading teams in a fast-paced
