We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistantandnbsp;to join a vibrant educational team in Slough. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with young children in a nurturing, stimulating, and supportive environment, helping to lay the foundations for their future learning and development.
About the Role
- Support the classroom teacherandnbsp;in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activitiesandnbsp;for Early Years pupils
- Provide both individual and small group support, helping children develop their social, emotional, and academic skills
- Offer ongoing encouragement and feedback to support childrenandrsquo;s learning and personal development
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environmentandnbsp;where every child feels valued, supported, and safe
- Assist in implementing effective classroom and behaviour management strategiesandnbsp;to maintain a calm and productive learning space
- Work collaborativelyandnbsp;with the teaching team to design and deliver appropriate educational interventions and learning strategies
- Maintain open and professional communication with parents and carers, sharing updates on childrenandrsquo;s progress and addressing any concerns as needed
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Educationandnbsp;or an equivalent recognised certification
- Have proven experience working with young children, ideally within an educational or nursery setting
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of child developmentandnbsp;and relevant early years curriculum frameworksandnbsp;(e.g. EYFS)
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with young children and colleagues
- Exhibit a caring, nurturing, and inclusive approach that supports the emotional and educational needs of all children
- Bring enthusiasm and creativityandnbsp;to planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
- Be organised, dependable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Show a commitment to ongoing professional developmentandnbsp;and a proactive attitude toward learning and growth
- Hold a valid Enhanced DBSandnbsp;(Disclosure and Barring Service) on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
