TeacherActive is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join a large secondary school in Chester. We’re seeking someone available from September 2025, for a short-term role, with the possibility of a permanent position for someone who’s the right fit. You’ll be expected to teach KS3 through to KS5, with the freedom to get creative in the classroom. Chester’s transport links and vibrant educational community make this an opportunity not to be missed.

The successful Computer Science Teacher will have:

-         QTS with a Computer Science specialism (newly qualified teachers welcome)

-         Experience teaching Computing or ICT up to KS5

-         Excellent classroom management and a passion for technology in education
