Project Controls Manager London The Project Controls Manager will lead the setup, integration and ongoing management of programme controls across: Governance frameworks and board support Risk and opportunity management Assurance planning and delivery coordination Integrated reporting and change control Dependency and interface management Act as the primary liaison for programme controls with DSIT, NISTA, and internal governance forums. The Project Controls Manager will ensure the programme maintains compliance with GMPP requirements and good practice, including IAAP, Orange Book alignment, and periodic Gateway/IPA reviews. Establish fit-for-purpose reporting and performance frameworks that drive action and enable clear oversight. The Project Controls Manager will Support the development and evolution of the programme Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in partnership with the NTC Planner. Champion a risk-aware culture, ensuring threat and opportunity are captured, owned and acted upon at all levels of the programme. The Project Controls Manager coordinates and quality-assures review preparations and follow-up actions (e.g. Gateway Reviews, Deep Dives). Essential: Proven experience operating as a Programme Controls Lead (or equivalent senior controls role) on a Government Major Project on the GMPP.
