We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our highly regarded Stepping Stones Day Nursery Team in Washington as a Nursery Practitioner.

Successful applicants will receive a £1000 payment after they have been in the role for 6 months. To be eligible for a payment, you must either:

Key Responsibilities• Observe, assess, and plan effectively in order to deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional care for children in the early years.• Provide high standards of quality within the nursery including the environment, resources, and experiences offered to the children so they can access continuous provision, play, learn and develop.• To safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of children.• To be aware of the signs of abuse and neglect and how to report these.• To have a great knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage safeguarding and welfare requirements.• To liaise with external agencies and parents to provide the best care for children.• To work as part of a team, communicating effectively to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and giving support to other team members wherever needed.

Qualifications and Educational RequirementsFull and relevant DfE recognised childcare qualification at Level 2 or above such as, NNEB, NVQ or Early Years Educator as a minimum requirement.If you are successful with your application, you will be required to complete a DBS Enhanced Application or present a current DBS Certificate that has been registered to the DBS Subscription Update Service.
