Quantity Surveyor (Commercial) - London

We''re speaking with Quantity Surveyors for upcoming commercial projects in London. You''ll sit just below the commercial lead on a large scheme, getting real exposure to decision-making, not just paperwork.

What the role looks like:

You''ll be heavily involved in the financial and contractual side of the project - managing costs, handling variations, supporting reporting, and making sure the job stays commercially on track. It''s about protecting margin while keeping everything compliant and running smoothly.

Day-to-day:

• Supporting the commercial lead on a large project
• Managing valuations, variations, and cost reporting
• Keeping a close eye on budgets and profitability
• Administering contracts and ensuring compliance
• Contributing to final accounts and commercial strategy

What you need:

• Experience as a QS on commercial projects
• Solid understanding of contracts and cost control
• Confidence to support and challenge where needed
• Commercial awareness (not just ticking boxes)
