Director of Middle East and Diplomatic Sales

to lead one of our most critical markets. This is more than a sales role

its an opportunity to shape our brand presence across the Middle East and Diplomatic sectors while delivering memorable, high-impact luxury experiences.About the Role:

You will be responsible for driving transient, group, and event revenue from Middle Eastern countries and diplomatic entities in the UK. This includes managing high-value agency partnerships, cultivating relationships with embassies, and ensuring our suites and long-stay experiences reach the right guests

including Royal Families and high-net-worth individuals.Youll also act as a key brand ambassador for 1 Hotel Mayfair, representing us at tradeshows, hosting site visits, and creating strategic action plans aligned with our revenue goals.Key Responsibilities:Middle East MarketLead and grow sales across the Middle East, focusing on agencies, wholesalers, direct guests, and elite clienteleDrive suite and signature suite bookings and support the long-stay strategyManage preferred rates and ensure accuracy in PMS and GDS systemsWork cross-functionally with Revenue, Reservations, and Front of House to deliver seamless luxury experiencesDiplomatic MarketDevelop and manage relationships with Embassies, High Commissions, and government agenciesSupport the Group and Events team with diplomatic event conversions and site inspectionsRepresent the hotel with professionalism, discretion, and cultural awarenessNew Business and Strategy

Identify and convert new sales opportunities in assigned territoriesHost familiarisation trips, deliver presentations, and entertain clients as neededMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and report sales performance monthlyAbout You:

A minimum of

5 years'' experience

in a senior sales role within luxury hospitalityProven success working with Middle Eastern and/or Diplomatic clientsExceptional interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in English (Arabic is a bonus)Hands-on, flexible, and confident with global travel requirementsCommercially minded with an eye for opportunity and detailA passion for sustainability, culture, and personalised serviceAbout usOur culture is caring and thoughtful, and we deliver good-natured and informed service, perfectly executed to evoke a sense of fulfillment and well-being.
