Full job descriptionCompany OverviewMy client, based in Liverpool City Centre is a prestigious 4-star hotel located in the heart of the city. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for their guests, whether they are visiting for leisure or business.What youll be doing!As the Conference and Events Sales Manager, you will lead the co-ordinators to convert conference and event enquiries into confirmed sales and effective event co-ordination.You will lead the hotels sales team by successfully maintaining and growing our client base. Effectively managing a range of relationships with key clients including Agency bookers, local and national organisations, and others.You will report into the Revenue Manager working as part of the revenue planning team. The role holder will provide sales activity and account management to new and existing clients with a real focus on meetings, conference and events.You will be a proven Sales person and have a sound understanding of the hotel sales processes. With a strong hotel sales background, you will be expert in promoting a premium product against growing competition; with a natural ability to build excellent relationships both with clients and colleagues you will also be able to successfully represent the company at a range of local and national industries and agencies.ResponsibilitiesManage event coordinators to drive sales conversions and effectively coordinate eventsForecast revenues and identify need monthsAttend weekly sales and revenue strategy meetingsIdentification of further opportunities from existing and new businessDevelop and manage hotel sales driven and promotional activities in line with brand identityContribute to the hotel social media marketing initiativesRepresent the hotel to high profile clientsEnsure the CandE team are representing the hotel in a professional and efficient mannerProviding timely and effective communication with clients and internal teamsExecuting accurate administration of all planned eventsEffective show roundsIdentify team training and development needsTake any other duty commensurate with this post as determined by the Revenue ManagerRequirementsProven experience in event management or conference planning, preferably within the hospitality industry.Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Employee discountGym membershipOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
