Job Title: Children''s Support Worker
Location: East Sussex and surrounding areas
Salary: -17.00 - -19.00 per hour

About the Role:
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Children''s Support Workers to join our team across East Sussex and surrounding areas. This rewarding role involves supporting children and young people with a range of needs, helping them to achieve positive outcomes and live fulfilling lives in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people
• Promote emotional well-being, independence, and personal development
• Support with daily routines, including education, activities, and appointments
• Build positive, trusting relationships with service users
• Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
• Work collaboratively with families, social workers, and other professionals

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months'' experience working with children or young people in the UK
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable, not essential)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends

Desirable (but not essential):

• Restraint training (e.g. MAPA, CPI, or equivalent)
• Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care or Childcare
