Area Sales Manager (Material Handling)
My client, a dealer of material handling equipment, is currently seeking an experienced and self-motivated sales professional to work in a region across Doncaster, Hull, York and Harrogate. The company are looking to grow rapidly over the next few years and this is a great opportunity for a successful sales professional either from within material handling or outside. The Role Managing an existing client base across Doncaster, Hull, York and HarrogateBusiness development across this region selling the companies range of material handling equipment and associated products Generate new business by visiting customers on site, conducting site surveys and providing customer quotes for forklift hireProviding a consultative sales approach in order to win new business in the hire and sale of various equipment Take responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growthRequirements You will ideally have worked in a sales role within material handling before, with a proven track record in the industry. You will be proactive in your approach to selling and will have a solid understanding of equipment hire. As an alternative to forklift sales experience, the company are willing to consider candidates from other industries within capital equipment as long as candidates have experience of providing a consultative sell and have experience of conducting site surveys.
