ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR Job Title: Engineering Supervisor Location: Thetford Salary: £50,000 Shift: Days Only The Role An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join a well-established, industry-leading manufacturing business in Thetford.This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for overseeing a team of engineers, ensuring the smooth running of maintenance operations across the site. You will play a key role in driving reliability, improving performance, and maintaining high engineering standards.You will lead from the front, supporting both electrical and mechanical maintenance activities, coordinating planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and ensuring fast and effective response to breakdowns. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance engineersOversee day-to-day maintenance activities across the siteEnsure all PPM schedules are completed effectivelySupport and coordinate breakdown response to minimise downtimeDrive continuous improvement and reliability initiativesMaintain high standards of health and safety and compliance Essential Requirements Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within maintenanceStrong multi-skilled background (electrical and mechanical)Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environmentHands-on experience with PPM, reactive and breakdown maintenanceRecognised engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical) Desirable Skills Expe
