Initially established as a manufacturing company, our client has gone through several iterations over the past 70 years and now specialise in the selling of products and services to a wide range of customers within the UK.Your new role In this Management Accountant role, you will work as part of an experienced finance team and ensure management accounts are prepared in an accurate and timely manner.Main duties:Production of monthly management accounts for group companiesAssist with the preparation of the board packSupport with annual budget preparation and half-year forecastingAnnual audit preparation and liaison with auditorsMaintain/improve financial controls and processesDay-to-day control of the invoice discount facilityAd hoc reporting and project workWhat you''ll need to succeed Qualified/newly qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) - consideration may be given to part-qualified candidates who are nearing the end of their studiesBroad finance experience with strong management accounting skillsManufacturing background (highly desirable)Proactive approach to work with the ability to see the bigger pictureCapable of working und
