Senior Mechanical Design EngineerResponsibilities

Using CAD software to create 2D and 3D solid modelled designs, for a wide range of products from small components to large complex sub-systemsDeveloping conceptual designs for products, sub-systems and unitsManage the engineering/manufacturing interfaceOversee the various production/assembly practices associated with the manufacturing equipmentAs the designs progress through the manufacturing, test, delivery and support lifecycle, the role holder will manage the Engineering Change for their area of responsibilityYour skills and experiences

Currently working in a Senior Designer role or at that level with proven experienceExpert in the use of 2D and 3D CAD design tools, preferably Siemens NXExperience of design for manufacture and design for maintainabilityHNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical EngineeringSeniority level
