We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming academy in Croydon that is seeking a Year 1 Class Teacher to join their team, on a one-year fixed-term contract starting in September 2025. This is a three-form entry school with approximately 250 pupils, known for its strong community focus and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
• Monitor pupil progress through assessments
• Maintain a supportive and well-managed classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues
• Take part in school activities, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Experience teaching in-Key Stage 1
• Solid understanding of the national curriculum
• A collaborative, professional, and reflective approach
• Full enhanced DBS and professional reference check
• A strong communication, with confident classroom management
