Our Water contractor client are seeking a Proposals Manager to join their delivery team working on their Southern Water framework project in Burham, Kent. ResponsibilitiesEnsure constructability input is received in a timely manner from the delivery partnersWork with the regional construction lead to ensure suitable and sufficient resource is available and deployed to projectsManage project activities related to scope, schedule, finances, risks, quality, and resources within defined thresholds and tolerances. Escalate to Regional Project Managers where necessaryEnsure that the approach to Health and Safety and Wellbeing procedures are sufficient in that high standards are satisfied as a minimumEngage with assigned stakeholders in accordance with overall communication Plan - design or construction - including permits, planning consents, street-worksSkills/experience/qualificationsDegree level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering Experienced Project Manager / Senior AgentStrong leadership capabilityExperience of supervising multidisciplinary DandB projects including civils and MEICAKnowledge and understanding of construction contract law and forms of contract through experience and formal trainingExtensive technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practicesComputer competence (MS Word, Excel, Document control system, Primavera software)Relevant CSCS CardTraining in Health and Safety
