About the Role
We''re seeking an inspiring Public Health leader to join our high-performing team and help drive forward transformational change in a county known for collaboration, innovation and impact.
As Consultant in Public Health, you''ll:
- Shape Oxfordshire''s strategic public health direction through system-wide partnerships
- Lead priority areas including healthcare public health, intelligence/surveillance, and substance use prevention
- Champion population health management and preventative approaches aligned with our 10-Year Health Plan
- Collaborate with local NHS Trusts, the ICS, social care, and criminal justice partners
- Manage and mentor a skilled team of around 10 public health professionals
- Represent Public Health at executive-level meetings and contribute to regional teaching and audit
- Embed a Marmot approach to tackling health inequalities head-on
