Management Accountant£32,000 - £36,000 DOEExeterMonday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00An exciting opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a growing finance team in Exeter. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you''ll take ownership of month-end close, management accounts, and treasury, while supporting the business with accurate financial insight.What you''ll do: Prepare monthly management accounts and reports. Manage month-end close and key reconciliations.Oversee nominal ledger, cash book, and fixed asset registers.Complete VAT returns (UK and Irish) and other statutory reporting.Support year-end audit and draft statutory accounts.Work with multiple teams to resolve stock anomalies and ensure accurate costing.Act as first approver for payments and monitor currency levels across accounts.What we''re looking for: AAT Level 4 (or equivalent) or working towards ACCA/ACA/CIMA. Solid accounting experience and strong Excel skills.Organised, detail-focused, and able to work independently.ERP experience and manufacturing background desirable but not essential.Why apply?
