Search is working with a well-established and highly reputable construction company who due to growth is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team based in Manchester
We are looking for a experienced PM who has experience working on refurbishment facade and cladding projects ideally on high rise schemes

Oversee all phases of a construction project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.

Role

* Confirming building plans with Surveyors, Architects, and Engineers
* Creating work schedules so projects are completed before deadlines
* Purchasing or hiring building equipment and materials
* Overseeing building projects to ensure staff are working safely, productively and to a high standard
* Monitoring construction budget to minimise overspending
* Providing progress reports to clients via phone, email or meetings in person
* Negotiating with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
* Responsible for planning, executing, and closing construction projects.
* Project Planning and Scheduling
* Develop detailed project timelines, allocating resources, and ensuring milestones are achievable.
* Budget and Cost Management
* Preparing budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring projects remain financially on track
* Hiring and supervising subcontractors, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships
* Deal with quality Control
* Ensure construction meets design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
* Direct and motivating multidisciplinary teams whilst maintaining effective communication with workers and stakeholders.
* Deal with all compliance and Safety
* Ensure adherence to local building codes, national safety standards, and environmental regulations.
* Maintain project records, providing status updates to clients and executives, and documenting progress and issues.
