Overview

Reporting to the COO, this role will be responsible for the management of operations within Uber Payments UK, a UK-based Electronic Money Institution (EMI). This role will be key in ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and industry best practices, and as part of that will have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across different locations on critical projects.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with specific regulatory mandates impacting UPUK''s operations, such as Operational Resilience, Consumer Duty, Outsourcing, Business Continuity, Cyber Security, and PrivacyBe the lead POC for UPUK operations with service delivery teams within Uber Technologies, Inc.; set UK requirements and ensure service delivery in accordance with those requirementsOwn the Service Level Schedules and ensure they are kept up to dateOwn the ongoing operational programs, create and execute implementation plans to ensure regulated operations remain efficient and support UPUK''s customersIdentify gaps and implement required changes to operational processes and SOPs to ensure efficiency and complianceSupport external and internal audits to identify and address gaps in UPUK''s operationsBe the lead on UPUK Ops policies and SOP frameworkCollaborate with compliance, legal, engineering, Payment Ops, and CommOps teams.Collaborate with LoBs on new products and initiatives impacting UPUK

Qualifications

UK payments services regulatory experience is a mustDegree in Engineering and/or Business ManagementExperience in an operational role at an Electronic Money Institution or a Payment InstitutionTechnical understanding of payment systems, processes, and integrations
