Solicitor (Engineering and Construction)

– South East – Permanent – £70,000 to £85,000 per annumSellick Partnership is pleased to be supporting one of the country’s largest utilities companies in their search for a Solicitor (Engineering and Construction) to join them on a permanent basis.The successful Solicitor will have the opportunity to work autonomously on a range of high-value projects of national importance while collaborating with the wider in-house legal function. The role sits within a close-knit team in a larger multi-specialist team.Flexible working arrangements are available, with an expectation to attend the office in the South East at least once a week.This role is suitable for a qualified Solicitor with prior in-house experience or an experienced solicitor from private practice looking to move in-house.Responsibilities

Dealing with a full remit of non-contentious commercial matters, including complex contracting and contractual issues on a regular basis.Advising on the legal ramifications and structuring of a wide range of commercial arrangements and diverse projects.Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial contracts and agreements, including the NEC4 suite of contracts.Benefits
