They are now looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller Setter Operator to join their growing manufacturing team. This opportunity would suit an experienced CNC Miller who is confident setting and operating CNC milling machines within a precision engineering environment. Candidates with some turning experience would also be welcomed. Role overview The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating and optimising CNC milling machines to produce precision-engineered components to tight tolerances. Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will play an important role in ensuring production targets, quality standards and continuous improvement objectives are achieved. You will work with a range of machinery and controls including: HAAS DMG Doosan Mazak Fanuc Siemens Heidenhain Key duties Setting and operating CNC milling machines efficiently and accurately Editing and adjusting programmes where required for production optimisation Producing components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards Working from engineering drawings, samples and sketches Carrying out first-off, stage and final inspections Completing relevant production and inspection paperwork Supporting lean manufacturing and continuous
