Supply Desk is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Brighton area. The school is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to a pupil with additional learning needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with one child, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally within a caring school environment.

The Role:

• Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs
• Assisting with learning activities and adapting resources as needed
• Supporting emotional regulation and building self-confidence
• Collaborating with class teachers, SENCO and external professionals
• Monitoring and recording progress in line with support plans

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience in a Teaching Assistant role, ideally supporting SEN pupils
• A calm, patient and nurturing approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with children
• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Supply Desk)
