Key Recruitment have a new opportunity for a Head Chef to join an independent top rated, 150 cover restaurant in West Sussex.£45,000-£50,000Serving food 12pm - 3pm and 6pm - 9pm Monday - Saturday12pm - 7pm Sunday(Out of the kitchen by approx. 9.15pm Weekdays, 7.30pm Sundays)Our client is passionate about creating and preparing dishes from locally sourced, freshingredients. Their Rosette standard seasonal menus are key to their business and whatsets them apart from other restaurants.Your role will include, but will not be limited to:The development of both the menus and daily specialsTraining of younger members of the teamOverseeing the brigade in the smooth, safe and efficient running of the kitchen operationResponsible for the day to day running of the KitchenOur client also cater for large groups, buffets and events - always plenty of variety!What you''ll need:Proven Head Chef or similar experience from a Rosette standard restaurantBe used to working with fresh ingredients and places heavy emphasis on qualityand consistencyHave a good understanding of health and safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchenA Professional Cookery qualification would be beneficial, but not essential asNVQ training courses are available for those wishing to further develop their careerFull induction to the company is available to ensure you''re knowledgeable in your newrole.Interested?Apply now!
