Job Overview: We are currently seeking a reliable and physically capable Chilled Store Operative to join our warehouse team. This role is based in our chilled store (operating at 6 C and above), and involves accurate picking, handling of goods, and maintaining a high standard of work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Picking and handling products accurately, ensuring correct part codes are used Lifting and carrying items up to 25kg (average jerry can weight) Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the chilled store Working safely and efficiently in a temperature-controlled environment Complying with all health and safety regulations, including COSHH where applicable Using MHE (Material Handling Equipment) as required, including forklifts (standard and Bendi where applicable) Wearing appropriate PPE and chilled store clothing as issued Requirements: Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting (up to 25kg) Strong literacy and numeracy skills, with attention to detail for picking and part codes Previous warehouse or chilled store experience desirable COSHH awareness or experience is advantageous MHE licence required; Bendi licence highly advantageous Comfortable working in chilled conditions (protective clothing will be provided) A team player with a good attitude and a strong work ethic Benefits: Monday to Friday daytime shifts (no weekends) Ongoing training and PPE provided Opportunities for progression and ad
