Join us as a Behaviour Support Assistant this September!GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and patient Behaviour Support Assistant to work in schools across Sheffield. This role is perfect for someone who can help foster positive behaviour, build trust, and support students social and emotional development.Responsibilities as a Behaviour Support Assistant: Provide 1:1 or small group behavioural support to pupils with additional needs.Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.Work closely with teaching and pastoral staff to support positive classroom environments.Help pupils develop social skills, self-regulation, and coping strategies.Maintain accurate records of behavioural interventions and progress. Requirements for Behaviour Support Assistant: Previous experience supporting children with behavioural needs is desirable.Calm, patient, and empathetic approach.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).Full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained.
