English Teacher Job - Leicestershire

• Teaching KS3 & KS4 English

We are working in partnership with an Ofsted ''Good'' 11-16 secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher. This is a full-time job to start after February Half Term to provide long-term cover until the end of the academic year. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.

Job Description

• Delivering engaging and creative English lessons.
• Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
• Contributing to the development of the department''s curriculum.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT''s welcome to apply.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
• Recent experience teaching English at secondary school level.
• Strong behaviour/classroom management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
