Pertemps are recruiting on their behalf for a Quality Engineer for their operations in Alcester. Salary - up to 34k per annum The role is a Day shift from Monday to Friday. Main GoalSupporting the companies quality function in full achieving quality policies and objectives. Duties and responsibilitiesSupport the business in maintaining and improving quality systems to ISO9001.Management of internal and external quality issues using 8D and problem solving techniques.Carry out internal auditing to ISO 9001 / 14001 standards.Support the continuous improvement methodology within the business.Reading and understanding projection drawings.Use conventional measuring equipment (height gauges, vernier,micrometers,protractors etcBasic operation of CMM machinery.Raising and maintaining documentation including control plans, process flow, FMEA''s, R and R studies, PSW/PPAP.Carry out capability studies improving the manufacturing process Skills and experience requiredPrevious expertise working in a quality engineering capacity within a manufacturing / production environment.Knowledge of fabrication, welding, laser cutting etc would be advantageous.Knowledge of ISO9001 is essential.Able to carry out internal auditing to ISO9001/14001Knowledge of 8D, Control Plans, FMEA''s, PPAP, Process Flow Charts.Able to use a CMM machineAble to use convention
