Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to work 1:1 with a young person (currently in Year 9) currently not attending school, supporting their learning in Maths and English and helping them gradually reintegrate into the classroom environment.

• Provide tailored 1:1 tuition in Maths and English
• Support the emotional and academic development of a young person with additional needs
• Work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure a smooth transition back into education
• Deliver engaging, creative, and flexible sessions that meet the learner''s individual needs
• Complete weekly reports and attendance for the young person

About you:

• • Experience working with young people in UK schools
  • Experience of working with learners with SEN, SEMH needs, EBSA, physical/ emotional dysregulation and implimenting deescalation stratergies.
  • Calm, nurturing, energetic and positive
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding practices
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum

Hours - 15 Hours per week- for the right candidate, this can be increased to full time.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
