Job Description:
- Plan and deliverandnbsp;engaging,andnbsp;differentiatedandnbsp;lessons in line with theandnbsp;KS3 and KS4 Geography curriculum
- Foster aandnbsp;stimulating,andnbsp;safe, andandnbsp;inclusiveandnbsp;learning environment that encouragesandnbsp;critical thinking,andnbsp;curiosity, andandnbsp;global awareness
- Use a range ofandnbsp;formative and summative assessmentsandnbsp;to monitor progress and inform planning
- Buildandnbsp;positive relationshipsandnbsp;with students, parents, and colleagues to support both academic and personal development
- Contribute to the wider school community throughandnbsp;enrichment activities,andnbsp;school trips, andandnbsp;cross-curricular project
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience teachingandnbsp;Geography at secondary levelandnbsp;(desirable but not essential)
- Be aandnbsp;reflectiveandnbsp;andandnbsp;adaptableandnbsp;practitioner with strongandnbsp;classroom managementandnbsp;andandnbsp;differentiationandnbsp;skills
- Demonstrate a commitment toandnbsp;inclusive education,andnbsp;safeguarding, andandnbsp;student wellbeing
- Possess excellentandnbsp;communication,andnbsp;organisational, andandnbsp;interpersonalandnbsp;skills
