HR Officer

We are working with a well-established insurance business, and they are looking for an experienced HR officer to join the business ASAP. This is a hybrid working role - 2 days from home and 3 days in the office. Ideally candidates will have experience within a professional services environment and the role would be ideal for an experienced HR Assistant looking for the next step in their career, or a seasoned HR Officer looking for a new role. The role is truly generalist and will have exposure to all areas of the employee life cycle supporting a client group of c70 employees and will include ER, HR advice and guidance, recruitment, LandD and supporting with a new system implementation. Key duties and responsibilities will include; Working as part of a team of 5 people and supporting c70 employees with the full employee lifecycle Deal with various HR queries across the business, building strong business relationships through the provision of excellent service and support to line management on a wide range of HR issues Advise line managers on policy and procedures ensuring consistency and compliance Participate in the conduct of disciplinary/grievance investigations Manage end to end recruitment campaigns, including conducting interviews, providing candidate feedback to managers etc Design and write training material and deliver bespoke courses to meet the needs of the business Source appropriate, cost-effective development solutions to meet needs identified with the corporate
