Night Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and experienced
Night Duty Manager
to oversee the smooth operation of the property during overnight hours. This role is crucial to ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of guests and staff during the night. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly organized, and capable of making quick decisions independently.Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Services and Front Desk Operations:Manage late check-ins, early check-outs, guest requests, and handle all front desk duties during the night shift.- Security and Safety:Ensure the safety of guests and staff by conducting regular property checks, monitoring security systems, and handling emergencies according to procedures.- Incident Management:Act as the senior manager on duty; respond to complaints, incidents, alarms, or emergencies with professionalism and discretion.- Team Supervision:Supervise night staff ensuring all duties are completed to standard.- Financial Duties:Complete nightly audit processes, reconcile accounts, process payments, prepare reports, and ensure handover to the day team.- Property Oversight:Monitor the condition of the building during overnight hours and report maintenance issues.- Compliance:Ensure all health and safety, fire safety, and licensing requirements are met during night operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or customer service (night experience preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Comfortable with using property management systems (PMS), email, and Microsoft Office
