About the Role:
An innovative secondary school in Wolvertonandnbsp;is seeking an enthusiastic KS3 Geography Teacher to enrich their humanities curriculum. You will inspire students to explore and understand the world, delivering impactful lessons and coordinating field studies that connect classroom learning to real-world environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Geography to Year 7andndash;9, fostering curiosity about physical and human geography
- Plan dynamic lessons including GIS, mapping, and environmental themes
- Lead local fieldwork trips and guide data collection and analysis
- Track student progress, offering targeted support and feedback
- Contribute to departmental resource planning and curriculum development
Requirements:
- QTS and a degree in Geography or related discipline
- Passion for delivering active, enquiry-led learning
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Willingness to lead outdoor activities and embrace field-based education
