The business has grown by 25% in the last year and has many exciting projects on the way, and therefore needs someone hands-on who can support the business growth. This role is a blend of management accounts, business partnering, small team management and project support. This role has progression to Finance Manager within the next 2 years! The client is seeking Qualified Finance Professionals with Management Accounting experience - ideally within the retail, consumer or product led sectors. Your new roleReporting to the Finance Manager, you''ll be responsible for:Ownership of Management AccountsMonth-end duties Prepare and review variance analysis reports, comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts. Provide explanations for variances and assist in recommending corrective actions Provide input into month-end activities with key commentary on movements and deep diving into any problem areasManaging a small finance team of 2 juniors Supporting external auditVAT and internal controlsCross-functional business partnering Ad-hoc project workProactively identify and implement any areas that need improvement.What you''ll need to succeedFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with management accounting experience.
