Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join their growing team. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of accurate and competitive cost estimates for fire safety system installations across various projects.

• Review project documentation and determine the full scope of work following engineers'' site visits.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather technical and logistical details.

• Analyse labour, materials, and time requirements to produce accurate cost estimates.

• Prepare detailed proposals and present them to clients with clarity and professionalism.

• Maintain and update records of estimates, proposals, and awarded contracts.

• Track and compare actual project costs against initial estimates to support future accuracy.

• Strong attention to detail with a passion for precision in costing.

• Familiarity with fire safety systems and industry-specific materials and labour costs (preferred).

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software.

• Solid understanding of cost control techniques.

• Experience preparing quotes: Minimum 2 years (required)

• Fire safety or fire industry experience: Ideally 1-2 years

• Education: A-Level or equivalent (required)
