Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)£ A friendly and inclusive school in Ascot (SL5) is seeking a Male SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately.
This role is ideal for someone who is patient, empathetic, and committed to helping pupils thrive both academically and socially. Youandrsquo;ll work closely with teachers and the SEN department to provide personalised support and create a positive learning environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, and social-emotional needs
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
- Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
- Support pupils during lessons and in social settings to promote inclusion
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure progress
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)
- Calm, resilient, and adaptable approach to challenges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
- Ability to build positive relationships and act as a role model
