Tax Manager , reporting directly to the Head of Group Tax.You’ll be supporting the set-up and development of tax operations across the business, working closely with senior leadership and a wide range of stakeholders. This role offers the chance to review current practices, bring them in line with listed company standards, and play a key role in shaping the group’s tax strategy.What you’ll be doingSupporting the Head of Group Tax with the development and implementation of tax strategy and governance across multiple jurisdictionsAssisting in the implementation of a new tax provisioning and Pillar 2 tax toolPreparing group and company tax provisions for statutory reporting, budgets and forecastsActing as a key point of contact for the wider business and external advisors on tax mattersWorking with subsidiary finance teams and operational teams to identify improvements, manage risk and optimise processesMonitoring and assessing the impact of legislative changes across UK and international operationsWhat we’re looking forQualified tax professionalStrong background in corporation tax, with exposure to at least one other area of taxGood knowledge of accounting for tax under IFRSAbility to manage multiple workstreams, prioritise effectively, and communicate complex matters clearlyA continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving skillsWhat’s on offerHybrid working –
