We are currently closely working with a Cast Iron Foundry based in S18 who are looking to add a Dimensional Inspection Engineer to their team, whilst also having some involvement in Solidworks designing of components (Training can be given)

The company manufactures parts for the automotive, rail and general engineering industries.

You''ll be working-mainly office based / away from shop floor, tasked with:

• Gauge design and implementation.
• Creation of measurement projects within GOM/ZEISS Inspect
• Operation of 3D structured light scanning equipment (GOM ATOS Q and ZEISS T SCAN HAWK 2).
• CMM Inspection and programming work with MCOSMOS
• Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
• GD&T and R&D work

You''ll be working Monday-Friday 38 hours-per week, flexible working hours to an extent, depending on you needs.
