high-profile hotel refurbishment project

.We are looking for a

to oversee all aspects of the project, ensuring

quality, efficiency, and timely completion

property development and maintenance portfolio

conception, budgeting, and design

to the final

construction and delivery

to drive success in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:To establish and develop clear project brief objectives in line with the business case, including strategic budget and programme requirements.Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of the hotel refurbishment project.Establish and manage processes for the development and maintenance of property portfolios.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations throughout the project.Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure efficient project delivery.Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination.Conduct regular site inspections, identifying and addressing issues proactively.Provide leadership and technical expertise to refurbishment, development, and maintenance projectsTo undertake project risk analysis and evaluation and to formulate and execute innovative action plans to manage risk to the project to minimise cost and programme overruns.To establish and maintain accurate project information including cost plans, programmes and other schedules as necessary to provide effective project control and ensure projects are delivered within agreed budgets and timescales.To manage the project procurement process including tenders, contract negotiations and vendor selection; undertake thorough evaluations and make recommendations to the Board for project execution and delivery.To establish, lead and undertake for each project thorough and regular evaluation processes to undertake value engineering and ensure value for money delivery of projects that meet the requirements of the brief and specification.To ensure that each project is completed in full compliance with all appropriate legislation including Planning, Listed Buildings, CDM and all other relevant regulations and standards.To ensure that all external Contractors and Consultants are correctly appointed with the appropriate Contracts, Agreements and/or Appointments to ensure that they are obligated to carry out their duties in full and that all required insurances and warranties are provided.To establish, manage and lead both internal and external Project Teams and to foster strong working relationships to ensure an efficient and effective project delivery.To collate project information, formulate and provide the necessary documentation and effectively manage projects through the Companys formal approval process.To formulate and direct effective property maintenance strategies to obtain maximum benefit from the Companys property portfolio and minimise disruption to the business operation.To undertake such ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time by the Main Board.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:Essential:Relevant bachelors degree.Member of relevant Professional Institution.At least 10 years experience in Project Management of construction and refurbishment projects in the Hospitality industryStrong knowledge of construction methodologies and relevant UK construction regulations, Standards, Codes of Practice and Health and Safety Regulations.Proven track record in managing and delivering projects within agreed budgets and timescales.Strong leadership and communication skills to manage project teams and stakeholders.Excellent project management skills, including effective planning, problem solving, organising and prioritising tasks.Competent IT skills including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.Current valid driving licence.Preferred:Chartered Member of relevant Professional Institution.Evidence of relevant and current CPD activity.Experience in the project management of large scale projects with a cost value of £20m.Strong Knowledge of forms of building contracts and consultants appointments.Experience at chairing meetings and making formal presentations.Experience in Costs Analysis and Value Engineering.Familiarity with sustainable construction methods and practices.Familiarity with Project Management Scheduling Software.
