As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm''s business objectives.Job responsibilities

Collaborates with other software engineers from team to solve the day to day platform issues and bring automations to reduce manual toil.Act as a key contributor with other software engineers and teams to design, develop, test, and implement availability, reliability, scalability, self-healing solutions in their applications ensuring minimal refactoring or changesImplements infrastructure, configuration, and infra as code for the applications and platforms in your remit and implement deployment approaches using automated continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelinesCollaborates with technical experts, key stakeholders, and team members to bring best practices and help implement them.Understands service level indicators and utilizes service level objectives to proactively resolve issues before they impact customersBe part of the 24x7 support coverage, as needed, and lead coverage during incidentsEngage with Technology Controls organization to ensure tooling and ecosystem meets the Firm''s rigorous cyber policiesCoach team members, encourage acquisition of new skills, and be directly accountable for specific software solution outcomesRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software development concepts and proficient advanced experiencePassion for automation, excellent debugging and trouble shooting skills with can do attitude.Hands on experience using large scale software development in these : Java and Python/Node.js/React and scripting .Hands on experience in supporting highly available production systems in cloud environments -AWS, distributed system, DevOps practices and SRE best practices and standards and supporting implementation and adoption of these standards.Experience with using and enablement of monitoring and alerting tools and services- Dynatrace, Datadog, cloudwatch, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus,Hands on experience of GIT, BitBucket, Jenkins, SONAR, Maven, CI/CD tools, Linux and Solaris, relational SQL and non-SQL DB technologies, streaming system – Kafka, Load balancing, IP, DNS,Experience with incident management, release management, RCA/Postmortem best practices.Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals.Excellent communication skills- Verbal/written for senior technical and senior business audience.Ability to work and effectively prioritize in a highly dynamic work environment that includes globally positioned teams.qualifications, capabilities, and skills
