Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Sheffield. This full-time role will begin in September 2025 and involves providing 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 1 with Autism.

• Supporting a lovely Year 1 pupil with Autism on a 1:1 basis.

• Assisting with classroom activities and creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.

• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans.

• Encouraging social interaction, communication, and emotional regulation.

• Experience working with children with Autism or other special educational needs is highly desirable.

• A calm, positive, and resilient attitude.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A genuine passion for supporting children''s learning and development.

• A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

• A dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placement.
